Sending out a call for entries for the second annual Tennessee State University Digital Media (Academic Podcast) Tournament.
All entries become eligible for drawings for an iPhone and commemorative Hatch Show Print limited edition posters.
All participants must take participant survey located on resources/links page of site at www.tnsandbox.com .
We are looking to ‘harvest' 3-7 minute productions of audio, video and enhanced podcasts encoded in .mp3, .mp4, .mov and .m4a files in the following categories grouped by Student/Faculty cohorts: Course Concept, Feature and Service Learning.
Special consideration will be given to works that explicitly address the following null hypothesis: A project-based, active learning application of digital media does not enhance teaching and learning.
Follow the instructions listed on the website. Simply attach your digital media file to an e-mail and send it to Dr. Luke Powers, Sandbox Coordinator at Tennessee State University at lpowers@tnstate.edu.
If you are a student, please sign the eligibility form at www.tnsandbox.com and turn in to your faculty sponsor. The release allows your product to be archived with other pioneers in 21st Century knowledge agency.
Submissions will be housed and accessible on the University of Tennesse-Martin's iTunes U.
Best practice in each category will proceed to state level. Cash and other prizes have been proposed. Sponsors added regularly.
For overall program details, see ‘The New Sandbox': http://www.tnsandbox.com/
Please circulate this memo to all interested parties.
